Haven’t updated in a while because I’ve been busy with quite a few different things. Some of them big, some of them small. Hopefully I’ll have quite a bit of awesome and unique stuff out for everyone in the next few weeks (but don’t really hold your breath). Even so, this has been a pretty big week for the RM community. Here’s just a quick highlight.
First of all, the RM Coalition has released it’s third resource collection. While the previous packs have been focused a bit more on music, this one packed full of graphics and some scripts. These include a few scripts from both Dekita and myself, a few new autotiles from Hyde, and a god awful amount of graphics for ShinGamix from game over screens to window skins, among some other contributions. Down to business. No, I didn’t forget I said I would like to update with a new script every Sunday, but with my current workload it’s not entirely possible at the moment. None the less I still released 2 scripts last Sunday and have another one in the works. Aside from this there are a few other fun things going on including the Game Making Drive 2013. Anyway, let’s get moving right along.
Alright, so let’s see how long I manage to keep my promise of a new script every Sunday. I’m not sure it will last too long, but there’ll be a few good ones coming out while it does. Aside from that I have another spoiler screenshot for the RM Coalition release in the next few days. Still have a LOT of work to do to finish those up.
So today I finally release my terrain tags script. This script allows you to tag tiles with regions to give them a few new properties such as being able to walk under them or climb them like stairs. It’s pretty cool for making dynamic environments if you know how to use it.

I sometimes forget I have a blog, though I do enjoy making new posts on it. Anyway, Archeia’s had this little game making drive thing she’s working on and I’ve been posting my script updates in it. So far I haven’t really gotten anywhere, but this week I actually released to scripts and still plan to release two others very shortly. Anyway, about these two scripts. These scripts are a rehash of my battle pop-up script and a totally new enemy scan screen to replace the features lost from the pop-up script.
Other than this, Yami has begun looking into different battle systems and even commented on the one I made! So, let’s get this started off with the updates….
Finally got around to finishing my battle engine. It’s not getting any negative reception, so that’s good news. Anyway, I love how it turned out. It looks really good with these battlers, too. Gotta credit Archeia and Penta for those. Anyway, for a copy of this script, head on over here.

The image is pretty big so I don’t want it screwing anything up. It’s done, just not quite ready for release. What is it? Random dungeon generator of course. Only took me a few hours to make once I knew I could make it.
Anyway, I’m still too lazy to put all my scripts over here, so I’ll touch one or two at a time until I get them all up.
