Old (VX) Style Battlebacks Script v1.0

What is it?
This script allows the VX style battlebacks to be mimicked in VX Ace as well as providing several other options.

How can I use it?
Place this below materials and above main.  Set the settings and make sure the switch defined in DISABLE_SWITCH is set to OFF.

What does it work with?
This should work with any scripts that do not alter battlebacks or make changes to how map transitions work.  If there ARE any incompatibilities, try placing this script UNDER the conflicting script.

How can I get the code?
Version 1.0 (base script, 1.8.2013) is available from my pastebin account here.

I would like to use this code.

Author’s Disclaimer:
Even though when I used VX I didn’t like the battleback, when I started using Ace I missed it.  So I created this.  When I first created it, I didn’t think anyone else would actually want it, but it turned out I was wrong.  This is a really simple script and was created and modified in a matter of minutes.  It does require one graphic provided below.  As always, enjoy.

Place the following graphic into the folder Graphics/System under the name BattleFloor or use your own graphic instead.

  1. Does it work with Yami’s Battle Symphony? It’s Yami’s battle system.

  2. I don`t know if you still support this but Im having an issue.
Im using Symphony and theres the AfterImage effect available.
Whoever, the afterimage effects doesnt work when I use your script, something tells me is an easy fix but I blow at scripting.

    How can I fix it?
